Raised Your License Plate Fees!

ARE YOU FED UP, YET?

            Yes, your State House Representative is the local Democrat. But, he is not the Democrat of working men and women. Working moms and dads drive to work, the grocery store, baseball games and hiking in the Rockies. Moms and dads go to work, pay their bills and save for their families’ future. Your Representative has Colorado $1.5 billion in debt AFTER raising your license plate fees by $1/4 billion. AND, he raised your taxes by another $1/4 billion.

            “The sky is falling,” Chicken Little cried. “Our bridges and roads are crumbling!” Your Representative took $20 million for “crumbling roads and bridges.” His budget committee needed the money somewhere else, so he took it. He spent it in a different Big Government Department (the Department of Motor Vehicles). A businessman caught juggling books commits white collar crime. He goes to jail. Your politician takes money for bridges and roads AND wants you to re-elect him. VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE!

Who is Doc Miller?

            Doc Miller has fought for justice all of his life as a teacher, a journalist and as a criminal defense lawyer. Doc has watched “social justice” grow into Big Government as prosecutors and public defenders bargain away lives – all to fill prisons in the War on Drugs. Legalize marijuana! Repeal laws never obeyed like prohibition. Repeal laws that send our children to prison instead of school.

            When Big Government prohibited citizens from any right to self-defense, Doc walked the walk. In 1992, Doc sued Denver Police for a concealed weapon permit. That law suit returned to every law-abiding man or woman the right to carry a gun for protection. Doc will walk the walk to slash Big Government. He will fight taxes and license plate fees. He will fight the army of bureaucrats on your backs and in your pockets.

          Doc Miller opened a small business during the Reagan years, wanting a better life in Denver. Doc’s business grew, creating jobs and paying taxes. He sold the business after law school to help others as a lawyer

Now, a new President rules in Washington. Fat Cats hike taxes. Big Shots hike license plate fees. We lose 110,000 jobs. Unlike Reagan, Big Government kills jobs by raising taxes.

          Help is on the way. Doc knows how to create jobs – just get government out of the way.   

         Cut taxes and slash spending. Give business a chance to spend its money to create jobs. Business people use real money to pay taxes or to hire employees. When government takes real money for taxes, Colorado loses real jobs. Just think of Qwest or Frontier Airlines. They left. We still live in Colorado. Let’s make it a better place to live, to create jobs and do business.
